EASO is pleased to offer two ECO2026 Prizes recognising impactful work by early career researchers presenting at the congress.
ECO2026 Prize for Advocacy, Impact & Innovation
The ECO2026 Prize for Advocacy, Impact & Innovation recognises obesity research led by early career researchers with strong potential to inform future real-world change, including policy, clinical pathways, digital health, new tools, service improvement, collaboration with industry, or other practical routes to improved obesity prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care.
ECO2026 Prize for Public Engagement & Science Communication
The ECO2026 Prize for Public Engagement & Science Communication recognises the work of early career researchers that has been meaningfully translated for patients, healthcare professionals, policymakers, the media, and wider society.
The ECO2026 Prizes include:
- Recognition during the ECO2026 Closing Ceremony
- A certificate of achievement
- Nomination for up to €4,000 in support from the EASO Development Fund for professional development, research-related activities, or attendance at ECO2027
- Feature across EASO communication channels
Who should apply?
